The origins of the creation of circular furniture and referring to the history of ancient Roman architecture, it can be noted that this inspiration comes from the architectural prototype, which was a circus, especially the famous "Circus Maximus".

"Circus Maximus" was the largest circus in ancient Rome, built in the valley between the Palatine and Aventine hills. Its original structure had the form of an oval, which is typical for facilities of this type. The first buildings of this type were fully wooden and were built during the ancient monarchy.

The architecture of circuses in Rome evolved over time. During the Republic, they became a characteristic element of Roman cities, serving as a public place of entertainment and gatherings. The architectural form of circuses, especially their oval shape, has been permanently inscribed in the cultural heritage of Europe.

Transferring this concept to circular furniture, we can see the continuation of this archetype in the field of design. This furniture, inspired by the architectural prototype, may refer to the ideas of harmony, balance and universality that were characteristic of ancient Rome. Moreover, the circle as a form can symbolize continuity, unity and perfection, which fits into a certain philosophical context of that period.

Purpose: The tables are intended for use both at home and in public places.

Construction:

• Material: Solid oak wood, elements made of varnished and veneered MDF board.
• Tabletop and base: Veneered plywood, veneered MDF board, vertical elements made of solid oak wood, internal rim supporting the tabletop made of varnished MDF.

Finish:

• Veneered: The table is available in various colors from the Comforty veneer collection.
• The inner rim supporting the tabletop is made of black lacquered MDF.

It is worth noting that the choice of materials, such as solid oak wood and veneered plywood, and the use of varnished MDF affect the aesthetics and durability of the table. Thanks to the different colors of the veneers, the table can be adapted to various interiors. The rim supporting the countertop in black can also add a contrasting element.
